The double room was equipped with a shower, clean towels, and a balcony, and the location was peaceful, conveniently close to the airport, a beautiful lake in a nature reserve.

The food was delightful with plenty of dishes on the menu. the location was tranquil, next to a lagoon, making it convenient to go everywhere. - It was just off nature and lake, near the seafront and Hikkaduwa beach.

The location was tranquil and lovely on the river. We booked deluxe queen room, it had basic facilities you could ask for: climate control and a kettle.

We had a great time here, the location was fantastic with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful lagoon nearby, and it was only a short drive away from the beach.

I had always wanted to visit Hikkaduwa Beach, so I chose to stay at Asian Jewel Boutique Hotel for its convenient location. However, the check-in process surprised me with an orientation of the area and a refreshing welcome drink. The lounge-like bar with a pool table, DVD selection, and jukebox, as well as the outdoor restaurant offering Asian and British options, were also delightful features.

The hotel is a little older than some we stayed in but the quiet location away from the main road and the fabulous staff more than made up for this.

The Asian Jewel offers great value for money. With its beautiful gardens, clean swimming pool, and scenic lagoon views from the balcony room, it truly feels like a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring all our requests were accommodated. The restaurant serves excellent Sri Lankan and western food, with the special Sri Lankan curry being a must-try. Breakfast with a view over the lagoon is simply delightful.
